Kawa Aban prolific deliverer of imperative humanitarian assistance to refugee camps in the Kurdish region of Iraq on this occasion at the Kaparto refugee camp in a synergy of cooperation with the un & the Kurdish authorities. IIMSAM’s Roadmap to deliver humanitarian assistance to the “Refugees Camps” throughout the region via its Goodwill Ambassadors Programme to Refugees or Internally Displaced People (IDPs) throughout the Middle East. H.E. Aban has been delivering with “Concrete Deeds” unprecedented periodic distribution of emergency in-kind-life sustainable items to various refugee camps in Kurdistan which started with (Zawita Refugee Camp) in 2017.
Now once again he delivers in-kind life sustainable items to the Kaparto Refugee Camp run by the Kurdistan Regional Government & the United Nations. The camp is located in Duhok City in Kurdistan. Most of the refugees at the camp are from Sinjar-Iraq Muslims and Yazidis Children and survivors of terrorism. Distribution of 500 Food packages and Food Vouchers to 1655 persons of imperative Aid to, At the Kaparto Refugee Camp in Kurdistan Iraq.
The Internally Displaced People, (IDPs) are the most vulnerable in society,withstanding war, conflagration, hunger, starvation, and so many unspeakable acts. Thus, without the continuous humanitarian assistance, their lives would be in great peril. Without a synergy of cooperation with the United Nations & the Kurdish Authorities, the humanitarian distribution would not have been possible.

Mr. Kawa Aban makes an unprecedented distribution of imperative Aid to Refugees or Internally Displaced People (IDPs). At the Zawita Refugee Camp in Kurdistan Iraq. The camp is located 15-20 km from Duhok City in Kurdistan. Most of the refugees at the camp are from Mosul,Iraq. Zawita Camp is Run by the Kurdistan Government & the United Nations.They are Internally Displaced People, (IDPs) the most vulnerable in society, which they have already withstood war, conflagration, hunger and starvation and so many unspeakable acts. Thus, without the continuous humanitarian assistance their lives would be in great peril. Without a synergy of cooperation with the UN & the Kurdish Authorities the humanitarian distribution would not have been possible. IIMSAM is grateful for their assistance and logistical support they provided during the IIMSAM’s Humanitarian Distribution lead by Amb. Kawa.Thus, without the continuous humanitarian intervention provided. The refugee population would also be prone to experiencing severe medical conditions, some life threatening – like Leishmaniasis (a tropical and subtropical disease caused by Leishmania and transmitted by the bite of sandflies. It affects either the skin or the internal organs.) Without any help or hope and nowhere turn for it. Food,Milk, Medical supplies are crucial to their survival.

“More than 2 million refugees and internally displaced peoples (IDPs have sought sanctuary in the Kurdistan Region in the past few years, creating an overwhelming burden for the local infrastructure. This is why I felt that it is indispensable to assist in whatever we can in providing food and relief parcels to more than 100 families 554 people, ensuring each family, “received Rice, Powder Milk, Sugar, Tomato paste, Tea, Oil, Red Lentils, among other items.” “The influx of refugees and IDPs from the rest of Iraq and Syria now equals approximately 35% of the local population and they are settled in camps in Duhok, Sulaimani and Erbil provinces.

Aban who has done a fantastic job in providing such invaluable humanitarian assistance at the Zawita Camp on behalf of the IIMSAM. I want to take this opportunity also offer my gratitude to the IIMSAM Kurdish Team for their brilliant coordination in making IIMSAM’s humanitarian efforts a successful one. IIMSAM will be working in the offing on a “Modus Operandi” with respective authorities to be able to put in place a Pilot-Project for the distribution of Spirulina to combat malnutrition in the selected camps for the Pilot-Project. In summary, all the refugees are urgently in need of clothing, shoes, sleeping bags, food, and medical care on a continuous basis.”
