IIMSAM’s outreach Spirulina distribution through learning centers. These centers have malnourished needy children. They include but not limited to: children at Kaloleni, Manyatta Arab, Bandani, Kanyamedha, Jeans Academy, Migingo. Which are schools on standard school programs but with children of poor background, Joyland and Lutheran schools with children who have special needs characterized with their physical or mental challenges among the many others existing abandoned and isolated from the regular interaction? Other Spirulina feeding program beneficiaries continue to convey their heartfelt most sincere thanks to the IIMSAM organization and the Donors and in particular, H.E. Mr. Vuorio who have so far contributed towards this mission as visibly demonstrated from their deep concern towards ensuring sustained feeding program in Kisumu. Since 2009 the program has so far has been visited by 741,100 produced and spread over 870,749 doses of Spirulina to benefit a total over 73,610 people thus over 52,368 children and over 24,242 in (2017) alone we produced 40,986 dosages of spirulina despite challenges. We will be increasing this first quarter of 2018 to meet the constant current demands. The communities in Kisumu and surrounding areas continue to rip the abundant health benefits from feeding on Spirulina distributed from IIMSAM Zayed Center. IIMSAM is a catalyst for playing a pivotal role in helping save the lives of thousands of children and adults in Kenya since its field inception 2009 to the present.
